Conflict Competency: Moving From Avoidance to Opportunity

  • This introductory workshop looks at the causes of workplace conflict and our responses to it.  It examines the impacts of unaddressed problems on the individual, the team and the organization, and provides practical advice on how to prepare for difficult conversations.

Success Signals

  • This interactive workshop looks at the ways in which people like to give and receive information – in other words, how we communicate.  Because over two thirds of conflict is estimated to be rooted in the “how” rather than the “what,” becoming more familiar with our own and others’ communication style can lead to better outcomes.  Understanding the communication preferences of a team can also help leaders and participants manage process and participation.
